different color eyes

Is one blue eye and one grey eye a disqualification froim registering for UKC?

What breed? And do you mean disqualification for registration or disqualification for the show?

Posted by EXrPitR on 07-16-2003 07:51 PM:

it is a APBT, disqualify from registering with UKC as a pet, but not showing. Is it possible to still register her?

Here's what the standard has to say:

EYES – Eyes are medium size, round to almond-shaped, and set well apart and low on the skull. All colors are equally acceptable except blue, which is a serious fault. Haw should not be visible.
Serious Faults: Bulging eyes; both eyes not matched in color; blue eyes.

DISQUALIFICATIONS
Unilateral or bilateral cryptorchid. Viciousness or extreme shyness. Unilateral or bilateral deafness. Bobbed tail. Albinism.

What this means is that the dog would be faulted in the show ring but is not disqualified from registration.
