Good mix or not?

So someone close to where i live has lepord cur/cane corso mix pups right now. Do you guys think they would work on coon? Only entertaining the idea because the coyotes are thick here and i have a couple buddies that have had a dog either killed or severely injured at the tree by coyotes. Had them come in on a walker male one time too. I think the mix in talking about would destroy coyotes especially with a couple of hounds in on the fight too.
