Snow/Sledding
We have got our first snow of the year and our twin 4 year old grand babies are having a blast with their nana ( my wife) snow sledding in my front yard. Just watching them brings back so many memories. We often forget how much fun the simple things in life can be. The twins were super excited when this snow was forecast and my wife bought them the sleds. We only expect 3 to 4 inches of snow, but they are having a blast sledding with nana. Dave

Sledding
I know this is a hunting site, but I just had to post this subject. The twins first experience with snow and they are having a blast with their nana. I am having a blast watching them, it does NOT Zget any better than this. Dave

Send them here—
They would learn what real snow fun is
Never got above 0, -12 this morning and -5 now. It’s the windchill that will bring a smile on their faces. -30/-40😉
2 things kids learn here: use the bathroom before you get dressed and do not put your tongue on cold steel.

Grand babies are the best! And your right it's the little things that bring us so much joy! I'm glad you and your wife are getting to experience this and making memories for yourselves and them.
It's been too cold for ours to play outside much here. Kase helped me to do some chores yesterday and played for a few minutes and Kash did go duck hunting with his dad Sunday our shooting grown men at 11. He has all the extreme cold weather layers and gear but it still makes this Nana nervous! It'd supposed to warm up a little tomorrow so maybe the Littles can go out for a bit. Our granddaughter is ready for some sledding.

Thank you, it was very cold today, the twins did not stay out very long today it was just to cold, below freezing low double digits but wind chill single digit. I remember when I was younger and we went sledding, build a fire from old tires and had a blast ( about froze to death ), but did not seem to matter in those days. I used to rabbit hunt in the snow, pants froze from the knees down and would stand by themselves when we got home. We did not seem to mind this as we were focused on our rabbit hunting. Your grand boys definitely have more cold weather gear than I had as a young boy and will be just fine hunting. They are making memories that will last a lifetime. Our twins are just getting to the age to enjoy things like sledding, building a snowman, etc as they are 4 years old now. Watching them and listening to them talk about doing these things brings much joy to my heart. Dave

Snow/sledding
It was fun while it lasted, but the snow and single digit weather has come and gone. Today it was nearly 70 degrees and all 8 inches of snow has melted. We had fun with the twins and bought them a bunch of snow clothes, bibs, boots, gloves and coats, but we may not get another snow this year. If we do then we are prepared much better for the next snow. We had a million dollars worth of fun with the twins watching them sledding and playing in the snow. Dave
