Boots with chaps.

Who makes a good boot that will hold up to wear and tear. Have 2 pair of Dan's and the soles have came off of both of them

I was thinking about this same thing today, wondering which ones were best? I think think it comes down to the material of the bottom half of the boot,(never had much problem with the top neoprene part) and the fashion in which the sole and the boot are brought together, I where boots and chaps but do it a little different than some I’m sure, I like to wear a mid height boot and zip on chaps, you can only cross water to the top of the boot but almost all the water I hunt is small rock bottom creeks, I mainly where the chaps to keep dry in fields from the dew and briars, but anyway I bought a pair dry shod boots this past March and they’re already leaking real bad soles coming apart, now they got some miles on em no doubt but obviously I’d like to get more than 8 months out of a $150 or whatever pair of boots but maybe that’s about the life expectancy of em, I’ve had mucks for years and really they never lasted very long either

I have a pair of Lacrosse Agility Alpha boots with Yoder snake chaps and they fit really well and have held up pretty well. Had them since July and have hunted in them a few times and they feel like my regular boots now.

Bekina is the only boot that has held up for Cheyenne. His only complaint about them is the insole they come with is really thin so I buy better insoles to put in them. Other key he thinks is wearing Bama socks with them. Not only will wick sweat away when it's warm but help keep feet warmer in the winter.
I have a pair too and choose them because they are light weight, I can't stand a heavy boot. I've got to have every advantage I can to keep up with him!
