No they loose there nose while on it.

For how long?

I've heard people say their dog was on it for a week then started acting normal again. My dog didn't hunt right the whole time she was on it. She couldn't smell and it made her really hot. Asked the vet about these side affects and was told that was normal for doxy. After about a week of being off the medicine, she finally started acting right again.
