Lyme question

We have a dog with Lyme and now a 2nd one has tested positive for it. My question seams hard to put weight on. Does it affect them with weight loss??? The old male is 8 now he is what he is but still trees alot of coons. My younger male now that just tested positive started getting thin and I've tried about everything but we do not feed table scraps at all. What's everyone feed that's in this situation.
