This gyp has a nice mouth and will stay treed. She will go 500 or 600 yards alone or will go deep as needed in company. She is pretty much a dead loaner in company, not my taste. I have seen her tree with other dogs a couple times she had no problems. she will handle, stay treed, not run any trash. She does not open on the ground much, but she is not a silent dog. Really nice locate and has been accurate. She was not hunted much til she was about 18 months old. She surely trees coon but she is not a fast track dog or a dog that hunts hard alone. SHE IS NOT SHY. She is not a headache either, she is enjoyable to hunt. I just have too many dang dogs! She is coming out of heat now so she will be ready to hunt all season. Barks some in the kennel when no dogs are around but if she can see another dog she is happy.
