This message board being part of your life.

I have been on this message board since its beginning back Round 2003. Made a lot of friends here. Got several calls and messages yesterday from people that I have never met but were concerned with how I made out in the storm. I came through it just fine. I will share that Steve Fielder who was a lot closer the the initial landfall is fine also. We just need to pray for the many that didn't do as well. Lots of lives changed forever the past few days.

Great news that you and Steve are okay, it sure saddens me about the ones that did not fare as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to the many who have suffered great loss and even their lives. I always liked Florida when I was stationed there in the Military, but never desired to live there. I know that the coastal areas of all the southern states are subject to devastating weather like hurricanes and tornadoes. I could never get used to that, knowing that it could happen anytime. Dave

Bruce I was wondering about ya yesterday. We got hit hard last weekend still no power around here. The woods will never recover in my lifetime it may be time for a new hobby.

Hey Bruce, I’ve been down here for a week helping restore power in Florida. We’ve done most our work around Tampa/St.Pete, but only about an hour from your store in Deland now. I don’t really know where they may send us tmmrw, but if we pass through I planned on stopping by the store. Glad you faired well through the storm, and praying for those who didn’t.
