Sad news

I was told the Melvin dog got killed at the truck hunt last nite. Sorry to hear of another good one gone.

It’s amazing any coonhounds reach a ripe old age considering the situations we put them in. Especially these go yonder dogs that we hunt today. I’ve been lucky with the roads. I lost a couple before we had tracking devices and never found them, I lost one to a hot wire and one to a conibear trap, but to my recollection never lost one to the road. Sadly it always seems to be the good ones that are lost.
