Question

just bought a NtCh female, paper work has been signed an sent to UKC.
My question is can I hunt her in UKC nite hunt under my name? or previous owner name before papers are returned from UKC in my name?

Tim, we always recommend to enter the dog in the name of the owner currently on record for the dog. Although the UKC number never changes, if for some reason the number is put down wrong on the report, we have the owner and dogs name matching our records to find the correct dog and apply the correct points.

Reason I ask is because UKC is way behind on getting papers out, so the dog is legally mine as of date papers was signed but hunt her under previous owner till UKC updates papers? I’m ok with that just making sure.
