Dot on Alpha 100 screen?

I got a buddy that has a garmin alpha 100 that has a black dot on the screen and he is wondering if it is a warranty thing or is he just out on it? He traded for it so he don’t know how old it is. Just thought I’d ask on her to see if anyone knew anything about this. I don’t know anything about garmin I am a dogtra guy.

You can call Garmin at 1-800-800-1020 and they will want serial number that is located under battery. I suspect it is out of warranty but they then will replace it with one that looks brand new for less than 200.
