CROOKED FOOT KENNELS
As far as comfort, the Lacrosse boots are hard to beat. But I wore the sides of the sole loose on the pair I had.
Got some yoders, punctured the top the first night. Glued it up and they’ve been good so far. Sure not near as comfortable as the lacrosse boots though.
Steer away from those Dryshod’s. They’re heavy and very uncomfortable.
I’m on the lookout for some Bekina’s. No one near me has them that I’ve found. Heard good stuff on them.
If you have big calves dryshod mids.. I have mid height waders and a pair of hi dryshods I deer&turkey hunt in.
If you have small calves belkine is a good option.
Quatro
For pure toughness you cant beat the Quatro.Reasonably comfortable. The insulated are much heavier than the regular though.

Boots
I'm getting old and fat , i can't get around like i use to, so i like something light, as in Tingley Air Go boots, they make an early model, that you can get hurt in. These will have a big T, with a circle around it, the old model has four lines on the side of the boot. They don't weight but may be a pound each, i've wore these all winter, they're insulated, the new ones have deeper cleats, and i think the rubber, doesn't wear as fast as the early model. The early model, is around 40.00, the new model, is around 55.00. I don't sell them, but you can find them on e-bay. Do not buy the old model, a thorn will go through the sole up in to your foot, and the cleats are shallow, in wet grass, you will go down. The new model has the big T, with a circle around it, has deeper cleats, and has a thin peice of nylon, in the boot, under a thin peice, of liner, that should deflect a thorn, i hope, and like i said, the rubber is tougher. But the new model, is just as light as the old model, which i really like them, i'm going to buy a new pair.
