great hunt with no better cause anywhere. Let's hope Biden gets his head on straight and gas prices won't effect the turnout. Hard to travel 9 hours when gas is 5.00 per gallon, and rising everyday, for no reason at all!!!!

That makes it tough for someone traveling any kind of distance to commit to coming to show. There are a number of factors where someone can’t show under a judge and therefore makes it nice to know beforehand.

it’s a benefit hunt for one of the best causes out there if you have ever seen some of those kids with cancer fighting for their lives it would break your heart . Who cares who the judges are take two dogs if you can’t show one because of the judge put one in the hunt . I can’t think of a better place to donate money to. I’m going to try to make it to this myself.

Couldn’t agree more about the cause it’s amazing all they do and the money they raise for the children. Seems like an outstanding event that has been on my list for years. But it is also a 10 hour drive for me coming from PA, if it was 3-4 hours I wouldn’t think twice. But coming that far i do so without knowing that.

What a great cause but if I'm going to be driving 9.5 hours with diesel at $4.89 a gallon I'd like to know who is judging. It would suck to get all the way there and not even be able to show!

Why would you think you wouldn't be able to show???? Am I missing something

Richard it's not that they can't show, it's that they won't earn points if they are already maxed out under a certain judge, or maybe an ownership or family conflict thing could prevent it. I was involved in it heavy several years back, and the show part is much different than the hunt. I can honestly see both the argument for keeping the judges secret, and telling up front. Personally, I think the secret hurts the attendance somewhat, especially now with Biden letting gasoline prices soar to expense levels we have never seen before. Just a 300 mile trip(one way) then back home, would cost an average of $131.00 for gas alone. Some have much further to ride and it can get expensive. Something to consider is all i am saying. The real name of the game for this event is to pack the house and participants for a great cause.
