Pathfinder antenna

Does dogtra make a longer antenna for the receiver or is there any that will pick up better?

The garmin antennas will work on it.
Call Kevin rainwater. He sold me the little short orange garmin antenna and said it was the best. It seems to work well.

If you want a true long range antenna don't waste money on junk get a hound recovery antenna extendable range antenna. Best antenna for both dogtra and garmin systems. All I use for long range in these Eastern Kentucky mountains with my dogtra system.

If you want one give Wade a call. I see it shows all sold out on there but he might get you one faster just calling him. Tell him J.R. Ratliff was telling you about them for dogtra systems

Do they make one that you can carry easily in the woods with you?

I had one custom made in to a handheld to pack with me. So when I go with someone and leave my truck I still have all the insurance of a hound recovery antenna. The hound recovery antenna is the best insurance for bringing a hound back home.
