Why can’t you mail paperwork out in a timely manner? U can order stuff from anywhere else and have it in a day or two this is very unacceptable my two cents worth

Oh oh by all means it has to be the postal service.

Currently processing as of today on main board and this posting has been STUCK on Dec 10 FOR TWO WEEKS today
Is any one working and processing papers ??
Why hasn't this been kept current ?
I Sent papers in WITH A TRACKER
delivered Dec 13th

A guy I know sent paper work same day WITHOUT TRACKING
His check has been cashed... Mine has not

This is utterly ridiculous

Question........... If registering any UKC dog is it the same mess? Or is it just the coonhound department? Not sure if UKC is divided into stand alone divisions or all one big group.

The registrations are all ran through the registration dept unless there has been a resent change. I know it has been suggested for field ops to take over part of the coonhounds. Maybe that can happen sooner than later. Ukc registers over 200 breeds of dogs both here and from many countries abroad. The website list from 25 other countries. They hold agility, weight pull, dock jumping, conformation, obedience ect, ect, ect events in addition to various hunting events. For many of these the dog does not need to be a pure bred pooch to compete but does require it to be registered through UKC. You can go to the pound adopt a dog, register it and compete. I believe they are having as much problems retaining adequate staff as just about every other business is right now much less enough well trained staff. I've been told that registrations have been up 200 & some % since the pandemic started. Everyone and their neighbor have adopted dogs and bought dogs. Take this with staffing shortages and it has been the perfect storm for many businesses outside of even this one. What's the solution to the world we live in where so many have left the work force? It started with government control and forced shutdowns and now has mushroomed to a genie that can't be put back into the bottle.
We are familiar with the field ops staff Allen, Trevor and the rest as familiar faces we see at our larger events and the blame gets misplaced on them when registration is not their department.

Sound like a unorganized mess. And if they are that busy they should hire some help.

There was problems with their registration department long before the pandemic hit .
