WOLVES-lighted collars
I'm moving to northern wisconsin, langlade county. Do the blue and green light beacons for dog collars help keep the wolves away from your hound? 2nd question. Do the wolves adapt to people like the coyote do and roam near houses or do the wolves like to stay in the big timber areas and avoid contact with humans. Thanks much.

Not sure--
But I can tell you I run the solid lighted Amber-Green and Blue and they work for coyotes here. I think if I was hunting where Timbers where, I would set them to flashing. I think it may make them a little more nervous??
BUT I sure would have my hounds in a kennel or a darn good fence and not on chains. I know a guy who came home in Northern MN to some killed hounds on chains. Problem I would be afraid of with a fence is digging under if they want to come in bad enough.
There is a post back in 2012 titled Blinking Lights On Dog's Collar's that you may want to visit. All I know is, I would run them.

Wolves
I really wouldn't worry about wolves cause I live in northern Wisconsin with lots of wolves and have only had 2 run ins and heard of only 1 other where he had 2 big walker dogs and killed a male wolf but my dogs have always ran right past besides one time I had a big redbone that got pretty tore up but the other dog helped him so if you hunt with more then one dog you should be fine
no worries?
