Other uses for ivermectin?

What are other ways to use ivermectin with a dog besides for heartworms? And the amount you use and method to do it?

I believe it is used for mange, but I am unsure of the dosage. Thankfully I haven’t had to go through that with one.

For ear mites I haven’t found anything that works like ivermectin…been using it for many years…

Using 1 percent ivomec or 1.87 percent cream…

1.5 cc’s of ivomec once a week for 2 weeks for a 50 pound dog…

Probably a little more using the cream only because it has a higher percentage of ivermectin…

I give it orally mixed with a little meat and gravy…

Old methods that work, ear's Listerine is a oral ANTICEPTIC dont hurt your mouth it wont hurt ur dogs ear,2 or 3 cc's down ear canal and massage in 2 or 3 days should clear them up.

Mange, simple and cheep, Old USED motor oil, drench dog keeping out of EYE's, then let them wear it till it wears of.

Save you a little money if you need to

us poor boys need to save, the things listed above will work and have Vetnarian blessings, Ivermectin is being in trials for possiblity of treating some cancer, and fighting Covid, Panacure is being used by lots coast to coast for treating cancer, I have cancer, on chemo, so i hope maybe these things work

My cancer dr told me that Ivermectin is being looked at , Hope some of this info helps us as well as our hounds

Ivermectin saved my life. Had covid 2 times
About killed me the second. Was taking 30 ivermectin pills a day and it turned me around.

Can you prevent heartworms with ivermectin cattle pour on? I always give it down the hatch with the injectable but have a bunch of pour on.

The problem is that "the government" doesn't do research. The drug companies have to do the research and then the government approves or disapproves that research. That is why President Trump had to push the drug companies to research and produce the vaccines. Trump had to sign a contract with them ahead of time guaraneeing that the government would buy the vaccine as soon as it was approved.

It would cost the drug companies too much to do the research to get Ivermectin approved for Covid. They could not recoup their costs since it can be produced generically now. In the US doctors cannot recommend or prescribe a drug that has not been approved by the FDA. If they do, they can be sued, fired, their malpractice insurance canceled or their license can be taken.

I Googled ivermec for Covid and apparently there are a couple of actual scientific studies underway at this time. So far, the results aren't that promising. But at least you won't have to worry about being wormy.

Japan crushes Big Pharma with a small yet effective move

Ivermectin is helping control the virus outbreak in Japan:

Security expert Ehden Biber had recently alleged, “If you were wondering why Ivermectin was suppressed, it is because the agreement that countries had with Pfizer does not allow them to escape their contract, which states that even if a drug will be found to treat COVID-19, the contract cannot be voided”.

A lot was at stake for Big Pharma amidst the ongoing Pandemic, as a permanent cure for COVID-19 vaccines could have ended the need for multiple booster vaccine shots.

On August 20, 2020, Japan recorded 832 new infections. At that time, of course, Coronavirus vaccination campaigns had not been introduced. In August this year, most of the people in Japan were inoculated, but still, the country recorded 22,301 new infections on August 22, 2021. The number of recorded COVID deaths in Japan in August 2021 were, on average, five times higher than those in August last year.

Japan was struggling to tackle the Pandemic even before it rolled out a vaccination campaign. In early January, it had recorded a total of more than 9,000 new infections. Also, over a hundred deaths were recorded on February 4, after which Japan faced pressure from other governments to roll out a vaccination campaign. With vaccination, the Coronavirus outbreak in Japan did get contained for some time but by May 12, the infections started peaking again and over 7,000 new infections were recorded.

In September, Japan deployed Ivermectin and legalising the use of the anti-parasitic drug has helped people recover from COVID-19 with more durable and long-lasting immunity. Caseloads have come down rapidly without the need for booster vaccination doses. In Tokyo, there were around 6,000 cases in the middle of August, but the number has now dropped down to below one hundred.

Japan is now overcoming the Coronavirus, with the number of COVID tests dropping from 25% in the end of August to just 1% mid-October.

Ivermectin use is thus helping Japan permanently beat the COVID-19 Pandemic. If and when vaccine efficacy wanes, Japan will have a choice- using an anti-parasitic medicine as a permanent cure to ensure speedy recovery of infected patients with durable immunity. Japan has thus crushed Big Pharma with a small move- deploying the use of Ivermectin.
