Carolina Youth Challenge

The Carolina Youth Challenge will be held this year on November, 20, 2021. We did not have the hunt last year due to the pandemic, however we are a go this year. The hunt will be at the same location at Hallsboro, NC. We will be giving away a full set of trophies for the hunt and show. The hunt will be 1-20 with the trophies and they will also receive a hunting light for places 1-20 in the hunt. If you have never attended this event then you are missing a great time!!

Great Event!

I was privileged to work with David Pritchett and the founding clubs in eastern North Carolina to start this event for the kids of North and South Carolina. I’m so glad to see this great effort continuing. The venue is outstanding and the support from the clubs and the community is terrific! I hope all coon hunters in the Carolinas will continue to support this event.

I see the hunt winners top twenty receive new lights. Is their any kinda prize package for the show?

There will be a complete set of trophies and dog food for the winners of the show.

Everyone come see us this Saturday. The kids are going to have a great time!!!

Tomorrow is the big day!! There will be a treeing contest at 12:30, Yep Class at 2:30 and a Bench Show at 3. The hunt will be at 7. No Cost for the kids, that includes the food!! Almost forgot, there is a coon squalling contest after the bench show!!
