eye & ear issue

over the years ive all ways thought that if you got a medical issue with your dog you need to see your veterinarian and i have done that, but this time i haven't had any help! got a female that has had a eye and ear problem , left eye stays maded up and she shakes her head all the time!? two different vets and 300 bucks and she hasn't gotten any better!? drops for ears , cream for eyes, antibiotics! i really forgot all that they have tried! i've changed her feed couple times without any results!? been given her a Zyrtec for the last couple of weeks and that's not helped either!

Try switching to a hypoallergenic dog food. It won't cost you and sometimes it solves the underlying problem. All of those meds will only treat the symptoms. Find out what your dog is allergic to.

Spray veterycin in her ears.Veterycin makes a product for eyes also but can probably spray regular vetericyn in the eyes.Good stuff.wont do miracles but something to try.

At one time I had 8 dogs not doing well…two had severe eye and ear problems…the dog food had been the same for many years but the dogs were getting progressively worse over a 6 month period…swapped dog food and dogs recuperated and gained back their normal weights and I was able to cut the feed back to the normal amount as before…
