Boot Problems and suggestions??

As a vendor boots are probably the hardest thing on the market to even reach 50 percent satisfaction..I Carry 10 brands about all the time and seem to not be able to fill the need at times..
As a customer what would you like to see..
A pro rated warranty on defects for a year??
A full warranty on a defective boot for six months??
Or something completely different??
American made boot??
Imported Boot?
Rubber boot?
Polyurethane boot?
Comfort or longetivity?

Leather Wellington

I would love to see more options for leather waterproof Wellington boots that have been chapped.
As far as I know k-light is the only vendor selling them and she has currently took them off her site due to supply issues.
I know there have been mixed reviews on these type boots in the past. I however think it’s the only way to go. BUT I’m not wading the river every single night either.
I have had great luck with them, and then had some that weren’t so good. I think you have to buy them with an open mind.
I would love to see more options in this market. They feel more like a hiker to me. They are lighter and less hot than most boots on the market today.
I have really been considering buying a pair of Irish setter two harbors and having chaps put on them. They have a waterproof membrane and a good lug sole. They have good reviews and compare really well to the danner crafter boot k-light is having chapped.

Give me a boot/chap combo that stays waterproof and is indestructible and I’ll be a happy camper. I go through a set (or two) every single winter, no matter what boot/chap combination I buy. I’d sacrifice a little comfort for some longevity, and if a vendor has a combination that they are absolutely confident will outlast others, that’s the one I want to buy.
Quality control with regard to how chaps are attached to the boot itself is something specific I’d be interested in. And a heavier ply boot with as few glued together seams (in the boot itself) as possible would be good. I’d gladly pay a little more for a tougher combination if it meant I didn’t have to buy boots every six or eight months.

I really like the swamp buster boots but wish they had the tread depth and design of the bekina.

The Kamik boots I purchased from you last year are the most comfortable rubber boot I’ve ever worn. Can’t speak to their longevity yet seeing as I don’t get to hunt hard these days. But I can’t see anything wrong with them thus far. Plus they’re made here in the USA.

Thank you sir..They have suited more folks than they have not which is a very good sign in this business..American made was a plus also and still is.

Few choices to be had in that line but if you find a pair you like we can chap in house..Was always a good seller for Valley creek in Texas!

Cory your country is one of the hardest on boots in the usa...Yall stay in water sometimes for hours on end and its no chap combo known to man that can take that night after night..All rubber hip boots would be as close as you can get to 100 percent waterproof ..we did chap a few pair and doubled the waterproof liners and thus far results are looking good..bekinas have been the only setup that I feel will last the life of the chaps but we also have some swampbusters (kamiks) out there also..Time will tell!

I have been looking into a new pair for a while I have worn my quatros for a while now went through one insole and when reordering the correct insole was hard to find . I was looking at the bekina boot vet was not sure how well it held up have heard mixed reviews. The quatro is by far best boot I have had but it is a little on the heavy side . If not the bekinawhat would you recommend

The quatro is a very durable boot but as you mentioned very very heavy..The bekina is way much lighter but it does not offer the support of a quatro and is non insulated ..we still sale a bunch of quatros but more non insulated than insulated these days..Hard to get folks to switch from quatros that are use to the weight but even harder to get folks to try a pair that have never worn them just by the pickup opinion at a event.

Yes I agree that is why I am having a hard time deciding on another pair of quatro or something else the step ridges and deep hollers we hunt require a verry durable boot . I have heard the the bekina boots fall apart in harder walking areas is this true

I'd like to find a pair that frozen bean stubble wont poke through the soles.

Bekina boots are used by hunters in about every part of the country..Durability hasnt been a issue as much as the northern hunters found out they will freeze you in the winter time..Bekinas are used in the deep south to up and down regions of west va...All boots are like tires on your truck..if you drive 10,000 miles a month versus my 1000 miles a month..My tires will outlast yours. If you like the quatros I would not change but if you want lighter their are other options!

so far I have been very happy with the lacrosse agility boot. very light and seem to be durable so far. i normally go through a pair of boots a year, I've had these 6 months now and no sign of failure yet.

I’ll say I sure appreciate a vendor asking for input and having some honest conversation about the products he provides. Hope people remember that when the make their next boot purchase. I know I will!
