Powerful Prescription lol!
A few weeks ago I thought Ol Red was at the end of his days. He has an old injury from being bumped by a car an arthritis has really set in bad and overall he was going down hill fast. To help keep him comfortable I started him on Rimadyl for his arthritis pain. I started him on a low dose to see how he would handle it. I wouldn't recommend it for any long term use in younger healthy dogs, there can be serious side effects but for the seniors who need to be comfortable from pain it is a wonder drug. The dog who hates taking pills eats these like it's an M&M lol. It's a good thing he can't get to the bottle because I'm pretty sure he may be hooked.
Despite being somewhere around 175 years old and we never know when his last day may be he's living his best life coming and going inside and out as he pleases. Tonight he is feeling like a puppy again and I'm pretty sure it's a deer he's running! He'll be come in ready for a midnight snack and his doggie bed but right now he's having a blast.

Where can I get some of those pills? I wish that my wife/warden would open the door at night and let me out. I would love to be out there with Ol Red.

Big red and white dog that if registered as an English could have won the world. Dalt never tried to break him from running deer and he got hit by a car on the highway a couple of miles from here.
I was thinking the same thing about Richard. Why would she lock him in? He may want to check his surroundings he could be on the porch! But then again Red seems to want to chase tail day and night, wives don't usually go for that behavior!

Been using it for years on dogs they forget pain while on it. But they do love to eat them.
