2021 Autumn Oaks FAQ

There is roughly a month left to get your dog entered in Autumn Oaks. The deadline for pre entry is August 13th. You can sign your dogs up online or by mailing in an entry form for the following events:
1. Nite Hunt
2. Bench Show
3. National Dual Championship
4. Conformation
5. Junior Showmanship

Here are some answers to some commonly asked questions we get:
- The nite hunt portion of Autumn Oaks is one event ran over two nights meaning you can only hunt each hound on one night.
- All GRNITECHs hunt on Friday night. The Top 16 high scoring GRNITECH cast winners from Friday night will advance to Saturday night to the Grand 16.
- In addition to the pre-entry, we will be taking day of entries in the hunt and show. Day of entries for the hunt are $60 (up from $40 pre entry) and for the show are $30 (up from $25 pre entry). Walk up hunt entries will be taken first come, first serve as long as there are guides available.
- The National Dual Championship is limited to the first 100 dogs that enter, regardless of breed. Entry fee is $40. Dog has to be a Show Champion and Nite Champion at minimum to enter this event. If not full by the deadline (8/13/21), we will be taking walk ups at the event for $60 entry fee until the event is full.
- This is the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown! Be sure if you competed in the Winter Classic to get qualified for the World Championship and get signed up for Autumn Oaks.
- There are slams going on Tuesday-Thursday night at clubs in the area.
- Vendor apps are coming in steady, should be a packed house!

4-5 p.m. Bench Show entries taken for all shows.
Entry Fee: $25 for online advance entry, $30 at the event.

Thursday, September 2, 2021
Conformation Show: Coonhound Specialty Show. (see rules page for Conformation class rules)
8-11 a.m. Bench Show entries taken for all shows.
Entry Fee: $25 for online advance entry, $30 at the event.
11:30 a.m. Conformation Show begins.
Nite Hunt Portion of the National Dual Championship.
5-6 p.m. Confirm National Dual Championship entries.
Entry Fee: $40 for online advance entry, $60 at the event (until full).
6:15 p.m. National Dual Championship Cast Call in Kuhlman Center.

Friday, September 3, 2021
Bench Show: Registered, National Dual Championship Show
8-9 a.m. Friday and Saturday Bench Show entries taken.
Entry Fee: $25 for online advance entry, $30 at the event.
9:30 a.m. Bench Show begins.
Friday Portion of Nite Hunt.
10 a.m.-1 p.m. Confirm nite hunt entries.
Entry Fee: $40 for online advance entry, $60 at the event (as guides permit).
3:30 p.m. Cast Call in Kuhlman Center.
GRAND SIXTEEN/Reminder: All Grand Nite Champions hunt on Friday night.

9 a.m. Nite Hunt Awards Ceremony in Kuhlman Center.
Results will be posted on the UKC website (ukcdogs.com/autumn-oaks) Sunday morning after the Awards Ceremony.
