5 year old female

5 Year old female. Bought this female earlier this year and haven’t had much time at all to hunt her or give her the time she needs. I have took her hunting a few times , most of the time she acts scared to death to leave you like she has been beat or shocked before. She will tear out running for about 15-20 yards then slam on the brakes and come back to you all hunkered down. I don’t know what has caused this but you can tell she knows what to do and is a very good mannered dog. 3 or 4 times I have cut her loose and she never miss a beat tear out go hunting just fine and has treed a coon 2 out of those 3-4 times. I believe she is a good dog but someone has done something to set her back and instead of fixing it just decided to sell her. I wish I had the time to work with her and see what she can do but I am not getting to hunt much at all and will be putting most of my time into a pup this fall. You can call/ text me for more info.
