Conkey is the man

I picked the wrong collar and Conkey took my return and traded me no questions and shipped it immediately. Great business and I won’t buy anywhere else.

Bruce makes a habit of making customers happy as well as helping people that aren't customers. Garmin should be paying him for helping people use their products no matter who they bought them from.

Yes sir. The man uses what he sells, takes care of customers, and loves the sport.
Maybe the best (and most rare) of attributes in his business model is that he doesn't try to sell you something you don't want or need.

Bruce is the best at Customer service. Always looked forward to AO. Just to see what he had and get anything I need without worry.

Conkey’s

My first Garmin several years ago that I had purchased at a big box store had some issues, I called Bruce and he helped me get it straightened up. From then on anything that I have purchased whether it was just a few collars or gps systems came from Conkey’s. They are the best in the business.

just made an order with him today. Simple item I could have ordered dozens of places, but I went with Conkey because it'll be here in a couple days and he'll stand behind it.

I do like to spread the buying around to different vendors that are specific to the sporting dog niche. Most all have great service. But thanks Bruce for running a company the right way.

It gets harder all the time. Since last year and Covid started. I have not lowered my standards. But had to accept a few things I never would before. Getting products to the store in a timely manner has all but stopped. Trying to keep the website updated with what is NOT in stock or coming in late is near impossible.

Then if all goes good and we have your order boxed up and on the shipping table within an hour or two. Delivery of the products is also a nightmare in todays world.

Our inventory level has doubled just to make sure if you need this item a month or two from now we have it. Because it is taking us several weeks to months to get what we use to get in 3 days.

But the bottom line is. No matter how many changes we have to make. We are making them to treat all out customers as fair as we can.

I have heard this conversation the past few months a lot more than I want to.
Phone Rings
Store Phone: Hello
Customer: I want to check on the status of my order?
Store Phone: That is scheduled to ship straight from the manufacturer to you next week.
Customer: Thats too long, I want to cancel my order.
Store Phone: Sir we hate to have that happen but we will be glad to give you a refund. But let me suggest that before we do. You call around and see if you can get it somewhere else any quicker.
Customer: I will do that
Phone Rings a little later
Customer: I checked on that product and I will just wait. Can't get it no where any quicker.

I didn't build a business having these kind of conversations with customers. I never want to feel that Friendly, Quick and Accurate service is something that Conkey's can't provide. In the world we live in. Some days it is a struggle.

Ordered a pair of wader boots from him and was really happy with the boots and service.

We ordered most all of our equipment from Conkeys for years until we started our own shop. Conkeys is 2nd to none on service and provide a standard for all of us in the business to live up to..

Like Bruce stated In today’s world it’s nearly impossible to do business in a timely manner. Some business still strive to do that and I’m sure Conkeys is one of them..

No
Conkeys is not the only supplier, but he is definitely one of the best if not the best. He is second to no-one and will help you with a problem no matter where you bought your item. Personally, that's hard to find these days and I will stick with Conkeys for ALL my needs or wants. Dave
