I have a question I have a pup that is less than 1 year old named “Mnt Shotgun Fiddler “ he was registered already under this name the previous owner did not disclose that he had already earned 75 point in Black and Tan bench shows. The problem occurs I already sent in his papers for a 7 gen pedigree and I changed his name to “Triple B’s Midnite Ryder” my question is will his name change or stay the same if it does what will happen to the points or is there anyway to save his points and change name ?
As long as the dog does not have any titles and there are no litters registered with us out of the dog then we will change the dog's name but the dog will keep the points it has earned.
Thank u very much exactly what I was hoping for
You're welcome. Have a great day!
I know this is unique circumstances but I just bought this dog with 75 points and 2 wins in bench show I sent the papers of last Wednesday have not received them back yet in my name if I take him to show today and he wins will that affect renaming him ?
Not as long a s we process the papers before we process the points slip.
