Looking for tips
This fall I am about to start training a pup I bought that was born in January, he is knockout bred. I have a 6 gear old and 2 year old that are coondogs pretty accurate and consistent, just looking for tips and any help from someone who has had more experience training puppies than myself.

Just like every pup/dog is looking into the heart of their owner to see what type of chance they will have to go hunting and do what they are bred to do.
Every owner has to start with what is in the heart of their pup. That is found by exposing it to the woods. Yes, basic training around the house is important. Come, Load, Back and to lead.
You have two dogs that can find you a coon. That is a plus. Let them find one for the pup. The pups response to the situation would be your best indicator on what your next step should be.
Good Luck!
