Any good ones?

Anybody sell a good grappling hook so I can get across the massive creeks? Old dog got treed in no-no land last night (big housing development with security and all). Got her called back to the edge of a big wide creek that she, frankly, refused to cross. So there I was taking off the garmin, phone and wallet. Gave them to the guy I was hunting with. Then he drops a bombshell, “I can’t swim”.
Huh? I cross this wide, swift creek, water shoving me off the rocks with each step, get to the other side finally. Leash her up, drag her in and turn her loose when she decides she’s gonna start swimming. She reaches safely and so do I. Sketchy stuff!
Anybody got any good tales? The more falling in the better haha.

First drop one night several springs ago the brooks and rivers just thawed out running fast deep and cold. My dog crosses and gets treed on the other bank. No training collar on him. For an hour I threw sticks and rocks (even hit him couple times) but he'd just go right back to treeing. Finally I knew it was go time so I start peeling down I say to my buddy I'm gonna have to go get him and then I'm heading straight home (hour away) as it was well below freezing. On the other hand, I tell him, we're only a mile from your house you could get dry clothes and we keep hunting if you get him lol.....he agrees, makes it across and back thru water chest deep, running fast enough to take you, including ice chunks as big as a small cars lol.

We got almost back to his house and he says....I never thought of it til know but I just coulda loaned you some dry clothes couldn't i......😞
