Permanent registration...

I purchased a dog and plan to take it to grand American. I was wondering can I get her papers swapped to my name there or, do I just hunt her in the other persons name? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Until the dogs is actually in your name, you should enter in the previous owners name (owner on record).

UKC will be in attendance at the Grand American and you can turn them in to us there, if you want.

Will that be better than sending them in?

The work we bring back form an event gets put in front of the regular mail. For that reason, you may get them done and back sooner.
