How do you keep a dog from running a road?

I use some juice and turn them around.

I run by dogs down a road while I ride a bike. When the dog gets on the road I shock them , when they stay in the ditch or side of the road I verbally praise them..Walk With Wick method is tie your dog up close to a road, everytime a car comes by shock your dog, they learn cars are bad.
