Incorrect Papers for puppy

I recently purchased a puppy from an individual who stated the litter was UKC Registered. At the time of purchase he gave me the paper to register the puppy. After doing some research when I got home, I realized that the papers he gave me are from a dam and sire that he does not own and do not belong to my puppy. What can I do now? I have asked him about it and he only chose to lie to me and is now not responding. He is selling puppies claiming they are UKC PR papered dogs and they are not. The dam and sire listed on the papers are highly sought after dogs with a great pedigree and are being misrepresented. Please advise what I need to do.

Please send us a written, signed statement telling us what is going on. Be very specific and give us as much information about the situation as you can. I would include a copy of the papers you received from the person you got the dog from. Send everything in to us, to the attention of the Complaint Department and we'll look into it from there. You can also seek legal action against this person for false advertising.
