James Merchant

James, John Monroe, Joe House and some others were definitely an asset to the Walker Breed. I grew up in a time these guys were making a statement with their Walker dogs, I will never forget these guys and their contributions. Dave

James Merchant owned Merchants Bawlie who was World Champion 3 years and also placed in the top 5 or 6 two other years.

At some time he owned Merchants Fanny who was 1959 World Champion.

He also bought and offered for stud 1960 World Champion Deep River Mike and 1962 World Champion Katie’s Rowdy.

He owned Johnson’s Banjo who placed 2nd at the World Hunt and.Merchants Banjo II who also placed 2nd in a World Hunt.
