Back in the Rez

This week on CARNIVORE we will be back in the Navajo Nation chasing the big predators with hounds. I hope that you will tune in if you get the chance.

Good show. Makes me want to go lion hunting so bad but at 71 not sure I'm in good enough shape.

When there's snow on the ground, hunting is MUCH easier but getting over the terrain is so much more difficult for me. I really to prefer to hunt the dry ground, my dogs handle it very well and I can get around much easier. I have leaned that you just have to take your time when negotiating this high, rugged terrain.
There are lots of old logging roads in much of the reservation which helps cutting distance to the dogs.
