Purina club rewards / gift card question

Does anyone on here redeem their Purina Points through their rewards program? My question specifically is about the Visa cards. If you redeem your points for the Visa pre paid card, can you use that card anywhere like a regular debit / credit card- or is only for buying Purina products?

gift card is the best thing they ever done. you can put it in your wallet so its always there when you need it dont have to remember to bring checks.

Just redeemed points for my first $25 visa card. They sure make it easy to send in a pic of my receipt everytime I buy a bag.
