The North Unit opens November 19th, 2020. The South Unit will open December 1st and close December 15th as always. I verified the North Unit date with the authorities at the WRR.

If you don’t mind cooking your own meals Maddox Bay Cabins in Lawrenceville.

Last year we stayed just off the interstate at a regular hotel. Was a little further drive to hunt but was way cheaper and easier on us because we didn’t have to do the cooking than in years past.
That what our group will do again this year

They decided to close the refuge to coon hunting this year. Sorry. Please stay home. 😂
