Garmin Alpha Help Question

so, when i go into settings, and tracks to delete old tracks, into archived, as soon as i hit archived button , every single time it shuts the alpha OFF and it does not come back on until i power it up myself with the power button? i updated the software to 7.80 but still no difference. i have taken the battery in and out as well. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Try plugging it into a power supply and be in basecamp mode and they try and delete them.
