ALLEN WITH THIS VIRUS BEING HERE AND ALL THE HUNTS GETTING CANCELED ARE YOU GOING TO EXTEND TIME TO GET QUALIFIED I KNOW WE HAVE ALL YEAR BUT U KNOW AROUND HERE THE SPRING TIME HAS MORE HUNTS WHEN IT GETS HOT THE HUNTS GO DOWN AND I WORK 2ND SHIFT SO FRIDAY NIGHTS ARE OUT FOR ME

JUST ASKING IF YOU HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS

WE ARE GOING TO TRY AND GET THEM ALL QUALIFIED BUT WITH OUT ALL OF THESE HUNTS NOT HAPPENING IS THE MONEY GOING TO BE THE SAME OR IS IT GOING TO BE LOWER THEY HAVE NO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT

if it opens up for may hunts we got 2 double headers in may and one fisrt week of june,so theres 6 hunts there

If I was a betting man, I would say it would likely be cancelled. Don't forget the purse was to be funded by the additional fees on hunts. With all the hunt cancellations, that funding is evaporating...

Allen has Trump's people called you about being in on the conference call tomorrow to talk about reopening? I thought that I heard him say Allen Gingerich as he was calling out the names but I wasn't paying very close attention. I did hear him say that opening Sports back up was a priority.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think it will happen. Atleast not for the original amount of prize $$. like previously stated, we are losing funding every weekend. Now it will be closer to summer and the attendance just isn't there in the summer months.

It has already been advertised. They can't rescind that. The only way that they can decrease the $200,000 payout is if 64 dogs don't get qualified and pay the $100 entry fee. The $200,000 payout is based on 64 dogs paying $6,400 entry fee. But even then they can only reduce it a few $1,000. So you better plan on getting qualified. There will just be fewer entries that you will have to beat.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t have it. There are a bunch of dogs that already have there 5 cast wins. I’d say we are going to see more dog power at this thing than there has ever been at one before.

Based on the lack of response, I'd say if it happens it won't be as originally advertised!

Yes, it has already been advertised, but everywhere I've seen it posted, it explains how it was to be funded...

UKC Tournament of Champions is: supported by increasing UKC Licensed nite hunt recording fees to $7 per dog starting in 2020, allowing an event of this level to be possible while keeping UKC nite hunts affordable for all.

Many hunts have not occurred and many more have and will be cancelled. Meaning... the funds may not be there. And I would assume no one is going to make an official statement, until the dust settles and they know where they're at.

Just my assumptions...

At this point, the TOC is still on as advertised. We feel that publicly suggesting options at this time based on "what ifs" would be premature. Fingers crossed, things will open soon and not many more events will be affected.
