Any good B&T dogs out there?

I have a friend who thinks he may be interested in a black and tan dog. Not a lot of people in the area hunt those and I dont know enough about them to know what dogs to start looking at. Just needs to not be a babbling idiot and go hunt in the woods for this guy, any leads or suggestions are appreciated!
