Cancellation of 2020 UKC Treeing Walker Days on April 16-18 in Rochester, IN

It is with great regret that the Treeing Walker Breeders & Fanciers Association has decided to cancel 2020 UKC Treeing Walker Days over the weekend of April 16-18, 2020 in Rochester, Indiana. As you are likely aware, the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic has impacted the lives of tens of millions of Americans through restrictions on events involving both large and small groups of people. Given these restrictions, and with the health and safety of all hunters, show people and other attendees in mind, it was determined that cancelling the event was the best option for the association.

The following awards, which are normally presented at Walker Days, will be announced soon. All winners will be invited to 2021 Treeing Walker Days for recognition and a formal presentation of their award.
• Best Two Night Sectional
• Best One Night Sectional
• Hall of Fame Male
• Hall of Fame Female
• Breeder of the Year
• Stud Dog of the Year
• High Point Show Dog and Handler of the Year
• High Point Nite Hunt Dog and Handler of the Year
• President’s Youth Award
• Outstanding Member (Male)
• Outstanding Member (Female)
• LaVerne Miller Award

LEE CRAWFORD INVITATIONAL: All dogs qualified for the 2020 Lee Crawford Invitational on Thursday night of Walker Days will automatically be qualified for the 2021 Lee Crawford Invitational.

PUP EXTRAVAGANZA: In order to ensure that those hoping to hunt a pup in the 2020 Pup Extravaganza on Thursday night of Walker Days do not miss the opportunity to do so, we will be holding a second, separate, older division for those dogs in 2021. Pups two years or younger on April 16, 2020 will be able to hunt in an older pup hunt division at 2021 Walker Days. Pups two years or younger on April 15, 2021 will hunt in the regular Pup Extravaganza.
