Dogs hauled in a trailer ?

Just wondering what others opinions on hauling dogs in a bumper pull trailer . I know I wouldn't want to ride in one . The back of a pickup or in a fifth wheel trailer sure .

I load mine in a dog box on my ATV then drive the ATV on a bumper pull trailer and go hunting. Been doing it for years. I do secure the ATV to the trailer.

Exhaust fumes can be a problem. I use Polaris side by side and pull a snowmobile trailer. Mud flaps help to deflect exhaust. Built my dog box. Front is air tight. Each compartment is 36d x 29w. Front is 25h tappers back to 31h. Always have 6inches of straw in each compartment. Back above doors is vented to leave heat escape. Dogs are comfortable. Box weight is over 400 pounds so trailer doesn't bounce going down road or across fields. My furthest hunting spot is 3.5 mile from home. I like what I have works great. I guess the best thing is design a dog hauler that works for you.

Oh by the way I was pulled around the mile square with my head and shoulders inside one compartment checking for fumes.
