An old man told me !

Dogs smell hot tracks on one side of their nose and cold tracks on the other side of their nose.

Tar, that right there is the problem. He didn't tell you which side smelled the hot track and which side smelled the cold track. So your sharing information that is partially true but totally confusing. But that is what this world has become.

I was smart enough to figure which side was the hot side and which side was the cold side. I plugged one side and hunted one night and we had nothing but hot tracks. I switched the plug around the next night and it was nothing but cold tracks. If you are anyone else would like to know the answer for just $9.99 you can send me a check and I will share not only which side does what. But you will receive detailed instructions for nose plug design and how to insert and remove with no discomfort to the dog. Guaranteed not to damage the Thyroid or require a recent dose of ivermectin to work. In my excitement I overlooked what this world has actually become. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED. Use PayPal. Oh how I miss Timothy Ball ads in the magazines.

A old man told me!

When I was a lot younger. A old man told me some people talk out of both sides of there mouth! Over the years I have found that to be true. So don't doubt what a old man tells you. LoL!

Bruce

He told me because of the air restrictions of using the nostril plug you hold their tail down when you cut loose when the tail comes up it makes them take a deep breath.

Tar

They smell cold tracks on the inside and hot tracks on the outside of the nose.

It's highly important to know which side of your dogs nose he smells hot and cold tracks out of, as well as coon movement in your area, so when your guiding you know which end of the woods to start at!

The problem with this is, some dogs are right footed ( dogs don't have hands) and some are left footed. If you spend $9.99 you could be wasting your money, because your dog may be opposite footed. LOL!

If you got a hot coon going one way and a cold coon going anouther way is that what makes a dog jack a track ?

I've hunted with some dogs that should have had BOTH nostrils PLUGGED, and others that acted like they had both plugged. Tar, you know that OLD MEN don't anything about coon dogs and coon hunting. LOL!

Old man sayings

When I was a young man an old man by the name of P T BARNUM said "there's a sucker born every minute". Looking around me all my years, I have found his statement to be very true ( Sadly). Dave. P.S. Timothy Ball exploited those that P.T. BARNUM told us about.
