-- We need some rain! (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928522710)
We need some rain!
I’m here in north east Alabama we haven’t had any rain in several weeks! I’ve been wanting to hunting, but I’ve decided to stay home until we get a little rain! In our area we normally have a dry fall! I’m just not so hasty about going when it’s so dry!

Here in NW Arkansas we have had rain all year long. Got 4.5 inches in the last 2 days. But it still hasn't cooled off much. Dogs got really hot last night working a coon in a grown up field. Weeds higher than your head.

Rain
We could use some rain here been hot and dry, pastures drying up here. I have started feeding hay once a day to supplement my pasture. I am looking forward to some colder hunting weather. Lol. Dave

Rained and rained and rained all summer. I've yet to have to water the yard. Most farmers are on their 3rd cutting of hay but everyone has got at least 2.

It's dry here. Even some of the swamps that normally hold water. Yesterday the weatherman said we're 6 inches above normal for the year. But what fell in March and April isn't helping now.

We had over 19 inches less than a week ago the lease roads tonight were leaving a dust cloud. Been tough on the dogs for sure.

rain
You can have all u want from us. May get another 3-5" in next 5 days. Already over 10"+ over ave. for year. Leave tracks in yard & tires are wet, when trying to mow this week. Take care, Ron.
certainly cant complain about the summer other than it was short ,but the spring seemed extra rainy and overcast this year which is probably why the summer was great with little fog or rainy days . we got just the right amount of rain this summer so you could mow your lawn every week or week and a half which I usually have to mow 3 times a week usually early summer or it becomes a jungle that just clogs the mower.it is also a good wild apple year which has been poor the past two.swam the hounds in the ocean behind my skiff to cool them off when we did get some hot humid weather.fall seems to be pretty good so far.

It isn't "Global Warming" any more. That is old school. It is now "Climate Change". You have to keep up.

We broke a record high yesterday that went back to the 1800's and did it by 5 degrees. And high is supposed to be in 90's here for next 2 weeks. Dogs leave a trail of dust when they take off.![]()
We're experiencing the hottest September on record. Average temperature was a shade above 83 degrees. The high has been above 90 every day this month. Hopefully we'll get a frost by Thanksgiving.

just read about historic snowstorm out in California Oregon etc...so im definitely not complaining about weather.now if we can get rid of the **** summer jerks so I can run a dog where I want to.they stay later every year.
Sorry
To hear you are not getting any rain yet. Dumped 2+ in. from weekend & over 4+ in. for last week, this morning. Supposed to get a bunch more this week that we don't need at all. Farmers are trying to finish haying, chopping silage & starting to harvest crops. NOT going to happen soon with saturated ground we have at this time. Your area needs to get rid of that big HIGH pressure system before you will get any relief. Take care, Ron.
East central Mississippi here. It’s been in the mid 90’s and we’re bone dry. No rain in the past several weeks and none in the ten day forecast either. My pot lickers have been having a hard time finding good tracks
