Did you blame Trump? He seems to be responsible for everything bad but nothing good these days.

They on him because they are afraid he is going to cut out their $1,000 a plate free spaghetti lunch get togethers.

I ain’t blaming nobody I am fat , out of shape , and it ain’t no fun when it’s this hot plus all the rain we got earlier made this underbrush over my head.

I feel your pain, I bring a shirt to change, because I got soaking wet with sweat. Now Shadinc, (Donald) on the other hand, he like to cool off in the mud and water. We were going to the tree a few nights ago, and all of a sodden, I hear plup in the mud. When I looked back he was laying down on his back trying to get up. Covered with mud up to his elbows, half his back, and all the way down to his feet. oh that was funny. Just wish I could have gotten a picture of it.

Guys

Just buy a 'summer' home or bring a camper in Iowa. 80's by day, 60's by night. Oh, did I mention, basically no snakes & definitely no gators, lots of corn 'food' plots & tons of coons. You may need a can or 2 of bug spray though!!! Like the old saying around here goes, "Is this heaven, no it's IOWA". Happy hunting to you all. Take care, Ron.

It’s defin hot in NC but not as Hot where u are Tar. I made a drop lastnite at 10:00 and it was 85degrees along with the sticky humidity felt like 99. Dog struck about 85yrds and ran the little rascal in a hole in the ground! I know it was a coon cause dog had him by the tail trying to get him out when I got there.lol my pup got really fired up on that when she got to him. Made another drop and treed a den back home around 11:30. U guys have a good day, I gotta climb back up on the steel.

I hunted every night since Thursday except last night. It's been pretty hot but not been unbearable( looks like been swimming after a drop or 2). Monday at end of night my dog went from chop mouth on tree to straight bawl so I figured he was hot enough it was prob time call it a night. Coon haven't been moving until 1 or 2 in morning tho. We just got good shower so humidity be good and high tonight.

Heat

I gave up summer hunting several years ago, and I DONT miss it at all. Lol. We have over 6 months of kill season from Sept to end of Feb. In Tenn. And Oct 15 to March 10 in Virginia. I hunt both states and usually hunt 5 to 6 nights a week in season. I figure I get enough time in the woods during those months . I see nothing pleasurable about the kind of hunts you guys are having this time of year. I fish in the spring and summer months and leave the coonhunting to you guys. Lol. Dave

Shucks, it's hot here too and air conditioning has spoiled me. I mow about 4 acres and I am cooked when I finish. I fish at night out of a boat whe n the heat is not bad, don't even want to think about coonhunting. Lol. Dave
