If 2nd dl is at 12 and all casts are back at 10:30 can they go ahead and draw out? I would say no but wanted official ruling

Someone might work until 11 and show up at 11:45 wanting to enter the late round. You can draw out the casts and have them ready to go but they can't leave until 12.

I did not think you could draw cast before posted deadline? Wont this be away of setting up cast with out all dogs entered?

All dogs are entered. You just have to wait until 12 to leave.

you shouldn't be able to draw out the cast till the entries are closed if the deadline to sign up is 12 oclock that's when you draw out your cast.

Exactly. Late rules for drawing cast are no different than the early or your regular 2 hour hunt. It is a separate hunt and treated as such.
Prime example double header Saturday night in Oklahoma all hunters were the same except for one who showed up for late round only. Now that would have been big trouble for that club had they drawn out early and left as suggested in first post or even as Richard suggested drawing then waiting to till deadine to leave. The deadline is imposed and all entrants have until deadline to enter, cast are drawn AFTER the deadline, no exceptions. Sit twiddle your thumbs or just have a good old fashioned visit while waiting for that deadline to arrive. Personally at ours we do the later while having a bite to eat and get nourished and hydrated to send them back out. If your club doesn't have a cook get some snack cakes and a cooler of drinks, hunters appreciate it!
