Bruce Conkey
Bruce I asked this question on the Garmin thread you started but but didn't see an answer. Friend says his alpha will flash bright like a camera then be normal then do it again. Any ideas?
.
Not 100% sure of your situation definition. But I have had people call and say their ALPHA was flickering. Might be the same as you are describing. Had them remove their antenna and it stopped. They had a problem with their antenna. This is not a common occurrence. You might have your buddy remove his antenna and see what happens.

Friend removed antenna and put another on and says no more problems. He had just bought one of the short orange antennas and it must be defective as started flickering first time he used it.
Thanks Bruce
hey bruce thxs got the GPS antenna for DC50 believe it solved my problem. thanks
