UKC Puppy Papers

I bought a pup two weeks ago and the guy I bought him from told me that he was waiting on the puppy papers to come back.. He showed me the papers of the parents so I bought the pup thinking I would get papers. So far he has yet to produce those papers. He replies back to me when I message him so he's not avoiding me. Should I not get the puppy papers is there anything I can do? I do have photo copies of both the parents papers.

GIVE IT A LITTLE TIME. UKC AT TIMES CAN GET A LITTLE BACKED UP IN THE REGISTRATION DEPT. I SEEN IT TAKE A COUPLE MONTH TO GET BACK A LITTER REGISTRATION BACK. BEST ADVICE IS TO BE PATIENT.
