Tar spending time worrying about Lipper is like thinking about the pimples you had back when you were a teenager.

We should recognize and be talking about the overall change that has taken place with our Coon Hounds over the years. The mental structure of the pups today are completely different than those 50 years ago. In most cases it isn't for the better either. Yes there are some wonderful pups being born today. Try to raise one where barking is a problem with the neighbors. They won't last long. Try raising one with an outstanding mouth and try preventing it from destroying its mouth in the pen. Can be done but it takes a lot more work than it use to. These pups today can chew through a chain link fence. They use just turn away from them.

The Coon Hound Hunters have taken breeding practices designed for the Live Stock Industry and have destroyed individual Coon Hound Breeds with those practices. Yes they have gained some specific things they were looking for in a pup. But the fallout out of all the other stuff you don't want is destroying the pleasure of raising a pup.

You got it all worng, only one getting played is you, figuring you out was easy but the hard part is figuring what side of the fence your on from day to day, you switch sides just to see who will agree with you, I’m staying on the opposite side cause you will be on this side tomorrow and the other side today, little confusing but Iv figured it out.

You guys didn’t even have enough thought process to save any semen on Rattler, sale cheap expensive pups an get out because it was all a scam, then a dog named Nailor comes along and rattler is famous, they save semen on Nailor but after the history books are written they figured out he put the capital Z in lazy, now all of a sudden the Nailor semen goes bad because it’s all a scam and Wham there’s 3 straws of Rattler semen that a man with a funny mustache owns but he is asking $15,000 per straw because it’s all a scam, then out of no where there’s Nailor pups born.

I have had good ones in all Breeds and all breeds are going down the same path. That proves it is not a specific breed the but breeding methods of Coon Hound Breeders.

Nothing wrong to stamping a certain trait in a breeding program. But I feel we have went overboard. A little concentration of genes is good. Where we have went is way overboard. Don't believe me. Check out the Bark Collar Sales. When some of these guys take pictures of their hounds. Look in the background at the Chain Line and wire chewed up. Ask the neighbors or your buddies how many slick trees are enough.

Thing is we also use two measuring sticks. What we see as good and what we read as good. Paper will stand still for anything. If your american sooner use to have drool marks and coffee stains all over the pages. Your dreaming to much and not hunting enough. If you keyboard is covered in donut crumbs and milk stains. Clean it.

I had to get a waterproof case for my phone because I kept spilling coffee on it.
Mr Conkey, you should have tagged along on my little hike through the Indiana woods last night.

It's bbq sauce today Bruce lol. Now I only breed for me most nights these two dogs I own do things I don't like but most nights they tree coon. I live in town so a dog that has bad kennel manners will not live here. When I go to town they win at the local level I don't go to big hunts anymore. I got a mental imprint of the dog I want if I hunt 1 night a week or 3 nights a week these dogs tree coons. I will never own a dog I have to hunt 7 nights a week and hunt down to control or keep it focused. I guess it is what ever the individual expects or what influences them or is their motivation for what they hunt. My motivation is my son because if it wasent for him I don't know how many more years my crippled butt would keep hitting this jungle.


And I cleaned my iPad just to make you happy lol.

Monday night abouy killed me here. After manovering around in my utv I got to within 200 yards. What a bad 200 yards. I got to within 40 yards. Saw 3 coon up the tree and said I had enough. Called the dog to me then had a nasty trip back to trail.
