Do You?

Trying to get the rest of my thank you cards/notes sent out. I send them to landowners I hunt on. Kinda give a run down of my kill season on their land. The deer hunters I tell of all the deer I see at night. And that they don't run. They just walk off and wait on dogs to go through. Sometimes I find washouts and let them know location. I feel it is a big part in getting permission for the following year. Just wondering if anyone else does it?

I Like It!

Ive never thought much about doing this but I like the idea. I think the small gesture sure means more than people would think. Makes them feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

When we had a club years ago we had an appreciation dinner for all the landowners in the area. We also donated money for the kids at the county livestock show

Morel mushrooms

Take them a sack of Morel Mushrooms (cut up,washed and ready to fry). That makes them happy, especially the older folks that can't get out and hunt Mushrooms anymore.

Yrs ago when prices were up, we'd get landowners a box of candy and/or a case of beer for Christmas. Then when we got back into it 6 yrs ago, we gave the landowner where we hunt the most, deer jerky we make.

Mine land owners get a nice bottle of wine and a fruit basket. A few dollars makes everyone happy.
