Boot and chap repair

Got a little bit of a leak in a boots? Not sure if its the boot or the chap? What can I use and tips to repair?
Thanks

Best way to find a leak is to fill your boot with water, then mark the leaks. Repair depends on where the leaks are and the type of material. Rubber can be patched with cold patches. Chaps may be repaired with spray rubber

Boot repair

As much as they cost looks like someone would repair them. I have a pair two years old and the soles came apart . Now I need new boots.

My dans boots and chaps may have more epoxy and flex seal on them than original material. They have been torn also managed to walked the soles off. But you won’t get wet unleee you go over the top of them.

What can you put where the chaps and boots meet?
Looks like they use some tape of glue to cottect the 2.
