Winter Classic - Don't Miss Out!

Don't miss out on getting your entry in for the Winter Classic. Advanced entries only! The deadline to enter is Friday, January 18th.

Here's a link to the online entry form. https://www.ukcdogs.com/winter-classic-entry

Mailed Entries: Your mailed entry must be postmarked on or before Friday, January 18th. If you put your entry in the mail on Friday, don't expect the postal service to postmark it on that day. You're better served to carry it to your post office and watch them postmark it for that day.

Field Operations is also available to take your entry over the phone. 269-343-9020. Have your dogs UKC number and credit card handy when calling.

Come early and hunt the Wednesday and Thursday night Warm-Up Slams. Enter on the grounds at the Civic Center for the Slams. Both events have a $1000 added purse. One hour hunts. $30 entry fee.

For those who may be looking to enter online tonight, and heaven forbid you have an issue with the online entry, shoot me an email with your dogs complete information and your phone number to contact for payment. Know that an email saying "I was trying to enter but couldn't" alone is not going to be accepted. We need your dog and owner information in order to be considered.

We just realized that as well and informed the IT folks of it. It's back up again now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Turns out it was set up to go away at midnight this morning, instead of midnight tonight.

Generally, we still have mailed entries trickling in on the Wednesday and Thursday after the deadline. So, not on Monday but hopefully by the last week in January.

How much water do they have around Batesville? Are most of the woods flooded? I heard that you can't hunt the Mississippi Delta or Eastern Arkansas.

Theres big timber country thats not flooded obv cause its higher elev. you get down into low areas of the bottom of some of the hollers your gonna get in some shallow water.... but yes for most part its a muddy sloppy mess right now.
Its not all delta type terrain there so you could draw out to several casts thats gonna put u in big nice mature timber .
