Going back to tree#
What has worked for you in breaking a dog from going back to a tree.
Pull them off and send them away from it the more times you do it the easier it will get. Don't allow them to go back. The one kc I hunt in some you only walk 30 seconds and cut they go back twice you are out.
Tar
Walk 2 ft and send em and guard the tree
Have a buddy stand at the tree. Lead your dog off and when he goes back have your buddy run him off with a switch.
I just cast them from the trunk of the tree they are treeing on. I leash them up at the tree. Pull them down off the tree and turn their butt to the tree and send them from there. It has always worked pretty good for me.

It’s not the tree they don’t want to leave it’s the coon. Get them where they will leave a dead coon and most times problem is solved.
I’ve seen plenty go back to trees that didn’t have a coon in it the first time 😂😂
